By the early 1990s, many musicians and producers had risen to fame as a result of applying more electronically synthesized sounds that were heavily appreciated by fans.

Such songs have taken hip hop musicians to great heights enabling them to make huge cash from highly attended concerts.

Electronica has widely been applied in television advertisements as background sound effects. Popular electronically produced tracks have been incorporated in video game sounds. This has led to growing interest in this kind of genre. Products resulting due to advancements in technology hardly lack incorporation of electronic sounds.
